"Arrow" S04E18 "Eleven-Fifty-Nine" Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards Premiere Recap
The CW Network continues Season 4 of Arrow. In episode 18, Eleven-Fifty-Nine, can Stephen Amell/Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards ) rwin the fight against Damien Dhark (Neal McDonough).
Diggle (David Ramsey) spots his brother Andy taking a gun out of a vault. Eddie reveals Malcolm (John Barrowman) wants him to hijack a ship. Knowing the plans of the shipment, Oliver has trouble trusting Andy since he is acting like a double agent.
At a campaign event, Damien's wife offers a position to Laurel (Katie Cassidy) as D.A. Why Laurel and Thea Thea (Willa Holland) watching on the monitors, Malcolm shows up at the bunker and demands the idol. While Andy rescues the shipment, Thea fights with her father but cannot slit his throat.
Laurel is too late to stop Malcolm from stealing the idol. Oliver doesn't want Andy to compromise but Diggle thinks he should be on the team. Oliver admits to Laurel that he is suspicious of Andy and that he could be using them.
In the flashback, Oliver shoots the soldiers down as he frees the prisoners. As the shootout with the soldiers, Oliver helps the prisoners escape. Oliver blows up the caves as Baron Reiter awakens the idol.
Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) debates with his daughter abut whether or not she should take the job. Taking the job means giving up Black Canary. As Thea deals with the burden of being humiliated by her father, Andy gives up Malcolm's location. At the hideout, the team falls into a trap as Andy takes an arrow for the hero.
At the prison, Damien notices that Malcolm has the idol but there is a piece missing. After patching up his brother, John and Oliver argue over his trust. Laurel orders the search of Damien's cell as she looks for the missing idol.
As Damien and Laurel threaten each other, Andy claims he's searching for bugs but the Green Arrow doesn't believe him. Torturing his brother, Diggle points his gun at the Green Arrow and orders him to leave.
John and Oliver argue whether or not people can redeem themselves. Felicity left him because of his self-righteousness and self-pity. As the prisoners get their weapons, Oliver reveals to Laurel that the team is falling apart; she should take the job.
As Damien's prison riot ensues, Laurel wants to put on the Black Canary mask one last time. While Captain Lance causes a distraction, Speedy and Black Canary take down the prisoners. Speedy has her rematch with her father.
As the fighting continues, Malcolm lets his daughter live and runs. Diggle and Green Arrow lower their weapons as Damien holds Andy hostage. Andy the betrays everyone and hands Damien the missing stone.
Feeding off the idol's power, Damien stabs the Black Canary with an arrow. After Green Arrow gets the Canary to the infirmary, Captain Lance hears the news and Felicity rushes to the hospital.
In recovery, Laurel shows Oliver the photo she kept of the two of them. After Oliver makes a promise, Laurel has a seizure and dies. Captain Lance drops to the floor knowing his daughter is dead.
