Benedict Cumberbatch Bringing Marvel's 'Doctor Strange' Teaser to Jimmy Kimmel Next Week

Next week, Stephen Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live with the first teaser!

It's barely been a few days since production for Doctor Strange wrapped up, but with Captain America: Civil War just weeks away from its premiere, things are moving fast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe -- and they're already prepping the ground for the fall release!

According to Screen Rant, Kimmel's show will be hosting a full week dedicated to Marvel in light of the upcoming Civil War release, and Cumberbatch will be one of the guests -- and he's bringing the first teaser for Doctor Strange along.

The first footage from the film will be released on Tuesday, when Cumberbatch will be one of the two Marvel actors on hand. The episode will also have Clark Gregg, best known for his role as Phil Coulson in the MCU (in several films until 2012's Avengers and in Agents of SHIELD since the following year).

Cosmic Book News reports that Kimmel's Marvel week will kick off on Monday with one half of the Civil War: Team Captain America. Actors Chris Evans (Cap), Sebastian Stan (Bucky), Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) will be representing the superhero alliance.

After the previously described Doctor Strange/SHIELD guests on Tuesday, Team Iron Man will reach Kimmel's set on Wednesday, represented by Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Emily VanCamp (Agent 13), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) and Paul Bettany (Vision).

Although he isn't part of Captain America: Civil War, Thor actor Chris Hemsworth will be the one wrapping up the big superhero week at Kimmel's show, as he's currently promoting The Huntsman: Winter's War.

It seems the two biggest ladies in the MCU will be sitting this one out, as neither Black Widow Scarlett Johansson nor Scarlet Witch Elizabeth Olsen will be attending Kimmel's MCU week.

Jimmy Kimmel Live and Marvel Studios are both part of Disney, so it makes sense the host dedicates a whole week to the upcoming release. Similarly, last year Kimmel had a Star Wars week ahead of the Force Awakens reaching theaters.

The Marvel-themed week at Jimmy Kimmel Live will begin next April 11, and Captain America: Civil War will reach theaters on May 6.
