Daft Punk 2013 Album: 'Random Access Memories' Rumors, French Duo to Premiere New Single Next Week? Chic Frontman Nile Rodgers Discusses Collaboration [VIDEO]

The rumors are swirling faster than we can keep up surrounding French music duo Daft Punk's new album "Random Access Memories." The news surrounding the electronic band has been very secretive, so every time any type of rumor or news is released it's a big deal. We just heard that Daft Punk will be opening their tour in the small country town of Wee Waa, Australia. The latest rumor is that the band will be debuting their new single this Monday April 15, 2013.

If you believe the French radio station Fun Radio, Daft Punk will be giving fans their first listen to the new album this Monday. A Fun Radio DJ tweeted on Thursday, "Good news, our french robots DaftPunk will premiere their new single next week on the french radio 'Fun Radio', i didnt say anything :)" Well @LIFELIKE_ did say something and now the music world is buzzing over the news.

Going a step further, Fun Radio's station Twitter account also seems to confirm the news. One small problem the tweet is in French. @funradio_fr tweets, "J-7 avant le grand retour des Daft Punk... Quelques secondes du single à venir pour tenir jusqu'à lundi )))" According to ConsequenceOfSound.net, the rough translation is, "Before the comeback of Daft Punk, a few seconds of their new single to hold you until Monday."

Of course, these are all just rumors and haven't been confirmed by Daft Punk themselves. However, you can be sure if the single is released on Monday, Mstarz will have it for you then. Daft Punk's latest album "Random Access Memories" is due out May 21 through Colombia Records. The "global launch party" will take place May 17 in Wee Waa, Australia.
