Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian [VIDEO]: Brooklyn Nets Player Skips Mandatory Divorce Settlement Hearing, Pregnant Reality Star Shows

28-year-old basketball player Kris Humphries was a no-show at today's mandatory court hearing in his divorce settlement case with his ex, pregnant reality star Kim Kardashian. Today's hearing in Los Angeles was supposed to be a chance for the estranged lovers to hash out any issues before their May court date. Unfortunately it looks like the missed court appearance by the Brooklyn Nets player makes him look like he has no intention of having the proceedings move forward.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in October of 2011, which was just 72 days after the two were married. Humphries countered with an annulment based on fraud. He has also allegedly demanded $7 million from Kardashian. Kris Humphries claims that his responsibilities to his NBA career are reason enough for rescheduling these hearings, but the appearance that he missed today was mandatory and does not reflect well on Humphries.

Kardashian was present at today's hearing, though she was reportedly looking a little nervous according to Us Weekly. Earlier this week, Kim and her legal team filed their witness list, which included her mother Kris Jenner and even Humphries himself. The NBA star has yet to submit his witness list.

32-year-old Kardashian denies her estranged husband's claims, saying that she married him because she had loved him at the time. She is currently dating rap mogul Kanye West and six months pregnant with their first child together. Kim is apparently desperate to move these divorce proceedings along but refuses to give into Kris Humphries' demands.

Humpries and his Brooklyn Nets teammates are set to play tonight in Indiana against the Pacers. Perhaps he could not get to Los Angeles because of this scheduled game in Indianapolis. Do you think that this will most likely be his excuse for skipping today's hearing?
