Most celebrities make headlines when they announce they are going to be having kids, like Kim Kardashian or "Glee's" Heather Morris for example. However, when you're Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, you are so famous you don't even have to announce you're having kids. You can announce you're not having kids and it still makes headlines. That is just what happened when the "Arrested Development" actress graced the cover of the latest issue of Out magazine and sat down for an interview.

The gay couple have been married for about five years now and it sounds like Portia and Ellen are happy with their life without kids. The 40-year-old actress told Out that her heart just wasn't genuinely into having kids. "There comes some pressure in your mid-30s, and you think, Am I going to have kids so I don't miss out on something that other people really seem to love?" Portia told Out magazine. "Or is it that I really genuinely want to do this with my whole heart? I didn't feel that my response was 'yes' to the latter." The actress continued, "You have to really want to have kids, and neither of us did. So it's just going to be me and Ellen and no babies."

Well there you have it "Ellen" fans. The daytime talk show host and her actress wife are not going to be having kids. The two have plenty to keep busy with anyways. Ellen hosts her super successful talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and also will be starring as the voice of Dory in the "Finding Nemo" sequel "Finding Dory." Meanwhile, Portia will be reprising her role as Lindsay Bluth on Netflix's "Arrested Development." Portia also revealed in the interview with Out, that she and Ellen have been working on a pilot together about rival sisters. Portia said she has plenty of other work to keep her busy in the future as well. "I definitely am going to be developing more shows -- not only for myself -- in the future" she said. "I really liked being a part of the creative process from the beginning instead of just stepping into a role at the very end."

It's good to hear everything seems to be going great with Portia and Ellen. For once in Hollywood there is no drama surrounding a couple. In fact, it sounds like the happy couple couldn't be better right now. "We really support each other in whatever we're doing and we're incredibly happy, which is why you don't see us in the press so much," revealed de Rossi. "There's no drama to report."
