Blindspot S01E17: Mans Telepathic Loyal Lookout Jaimie Alexander Sullivan Stapleton Premiere
NBC continues with the midseason premiere of Blindspot. In episode 17, will Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) be able to solve another piece of the tattoo map in Mans Telepathic Loyal Lookouts?
Dressed like a cat burglar, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) finds herself hanging from the fire escape as she attempts to break into an apartment. Her cell phone ends up slipping from her pocket and breaking into pieces. Haunted by David (Joe DiNicol)'s ghost, Patterson realizes that he was trying to get back together.
Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is on a date with a woman named Alexandra. Tasha (Audrey Esparza) looks over the evidence that suggests Bethany is connected to Carter's murder. Ash has to choose what side to be on.
Believing in second chances, Patterson tries to decipher the clues and ends up analyzing the data. While Oscar (François Arnaud) is putting the moves on Jane, Edgar (Rob Brown) discovers a cell and a photo of Sara. With Sara's life in danger, Edgar has to get rid of the surveillance footage that Bethany got.
As Patterson continues her journey, Edgar hesitates deleting the frame from his computer. As Patterson tells the shop owner about his astrological pieces. she hears a noise and gets ambushed. She then ends herself trapped and tied up in the dungeon.
The shop owner thinks someone sent Patterson to investigate him. As Mark thinks the stars need a sacrifice, Bethany realizes Patterson is missing. Tasha reveals that Patterson has been looking into a tattoo by herself. Patterson gets into an argument with David, blaming him for spending her into danger. David thought she would tell the team what she was doing.
No one in the team can hack into Patterson's computer. As Patterson cuts the rope, Tasha spots the antique shop on the street. Kurt then spots Patterson's coat inside the shop and breaks inside. Patterson breaks out of the cellar, steps bare foot onto the snow, and finds herself in the woods.
Tasha and Edgar are getting more information about Mark's violent history. Mark and his brother are working together to get rid of Patterson and cover up the murder, just like before. After Bethany gets an address, the brothers continue their manhunt. David tries to keep Patterson brave as Kurt pulls up in the car and spots footprints. After hearing Weller's voice, Patterson runs towards him.
As Kurt takes down one brother, Patterson hits the other and Jane shoots him. Jane holds onto Patterson tightly and wraps her up with a jacket. Back at headquarters, Bethany reveals the brothers' crimes and government conspiracy.
Edgar reveals to Bethany that he's being threatened. Knowing Edgar is living to him, Tasha makes a deal to bring down Bethany and her teammates are off. Back at home, Kurt hugs his father as they forgive each other.
Oscar stages the next part of Jane's plans and gives her pictures to memorize. As Oscar kisses Jane, Kurt's father hits the floor.
Patterson asks for forgiveness from David; it's not her fault. They loved each other. It's time for Patterson to say her goodbye and let go of David.
