SNOOP LION SOAP OPERA: 'No Guns Allowed' Singer to APPEAR IN ONLINE VERSION OF ABC 'One Life To Live', Records Theme Song with Iza Lach
There is only "One Life To Live" and Snoop Lion is preparing to star in it.
"The No Guns Allowed" singer is slated to not only write and record the sound track, but he will also star as himself in America's classic, "One Life to Live!"
ABC cancelled the 43-year-old soap opera last year, but Prospect Park and The Online Network, acquired the rights and will be resurrecting both One Life to Live and All My Children online, according to TV Guide.
Snoop will record the song, "Brand New Start," with 23-year-old beauty Iza Lach. Additionally, Snoop will actually appear as himself on several episodes of the revamped series when he visits Llanview to promote his new Indie film, "Reincarnated," which documents his journey from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion, TV Guide Reported.
Prospect Park CEO Jeff Kwatinetz is excited by the unconventional partnership; he admitted:
"We're thrilled to have the support of such an iconic artist, like Snoop Lion. To have him write and produce the theme song for this series and to have the amazingly talented Iza Lach on board, is just incredible. We are extremely grateful and excited for fans to hear the new theme song and of course catch Snoop Lion in upcoming episodes."
If you think Snoop on the day-time classic will be rad, Jersey Shore's Jenni "JWOWW" Farley also recently signed on.
One Life to Live and All My Children will return April 29.
