WWE Legend Chyna, Joan Marie Laurer, Found Dead From Possible Drug Overdose

The WWE and fans of the network has suffered another major loss. It is being reported that a possible drug overdose may have taken the life of another wrestler, Chyna. The WWE legend Joan Marie Laurer has lost her battle with addiction.

Chyna whose real name Joanie Laurer had quite the career with the WWE. At a time when there weren't a lot of female wrestlers, Chyna changed the game. Many female wrestlers today look up to the legend for paving the way for women to dominate the WWE.

According to TMZ, officials are currently investigating her death. By the looks of it, the wrestler could have died from a possible drug overdose. Chyna has not been seen or heard from in quite a number of days. After being found unconscious in her Redondo Beach, CA home by a friend, police got the call at around 7:30pm last night. Due to the wrestler's history with drugs, all signs point to an overdose.

Chyna was the first female wrestler to enter the Royal Rumble. The star that was one of the original members of D-Generation X Will be missed.

After making her mark in the wrestling industry, Chyna moved on to pose for Playboy and then taking on reality television. The wrestler appeared on "The Surreal Life" in 2005 and "Celebrity Rehab" back in 2008. Later on, she switched gears and tried her hand at porn releasing 6 films from 2004 to 2013. Chyna's official Twitter account released a statement confirming her death.

"It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero, the message reads. " She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."

Fans and wrestlers have taken to social media to give their condolences. Chyna was 46 years old.
