WWE Wrestlers & Celebs React to Joan "Chyna" Laurer's Death On Social Media!
The world of wrestling and it's fans were probably shocked when news of Chyna's death hit headlines Thursday morning. According to E!, Joan Laurer, the famous female wrestler known as Chyna, died at the age of 45 on Wednesday. Fellow WWE friends, and other celebs have been reacting to the sad news on social media.
World champion, Triple H tweeted: "Someone who wasn't afraid to blaze her own trail & create a path for those who would follow. A pioneer whose star shined bright. #RIPChyna"
The legendary Hulk Hogan also mourned Chyna's death.
Amy Dumas posted a collage of photos of her late friend along with a tweet seen below.
Other WWE stars noted that Chyna paved the way for female wrestlers.
MStars News learned that police in Redondo Beach, California, confirmed her death after she was found dead inside of her apartment on Wednesday, April 20. The officials were informed by a friend that went to check on her and found the former pro-wrestler unresponsive.
Chyna's cause of death is currently being investigated but it appears that there were no signs of foul play.
Before her death, Chyna was all smiles according to her Instagram account. Sunday she posted a photo and wrote: "Happy Sunday my lovelies I hope you all enjoy your day with your family. Be Happy, Love each other, and Live in Peace!"
Following her death, a statement was released that read: "It is with deep sadness to inform you that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, the 9th wonder of the world, has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that her."
RIP Chyna.
