Which 'Fuller House' Cast Member Will Become a Regular on Netflix Revival Season 2?

It's been a couple of months since the release of the first season of Netflix's revival of Full House, but the show got renewed for a second one only a few days later -- and now the first casting news are here!

Season 2 of Fuller House hasn't begun production just yet, but there's already one Season 1 young star who's joining in as a regular: Lola actress Ashley Liao!

According to Variety, the teen will not only be reprising her role in Season 2, but she'll also become a regular on the show. She's already appeared in six of the 13 aired episodes so far, as the best friend of Ramona Gibbler (Soni Bringas) and a crush to Jackson Fuller (Michael Campion).

Cinema Blend reports that the teen is broadening her horizons in on demand shows: she also has a role in Amazon Studios' The Kicks. Aside from that, Liao has a short called Lemonade Mafia and a feature film called Jessica Darling's It List on her future projects, with the latter scheduled for release some time this year.

Lola won't be the only character getting important billing in the show's next season: Jodie Sweetin's Stephanie Tanner will have a boyfriend on Season 2! However, so far, as production's still ways ahead, there's no actor cast in the role.

It remains unclear when will production of Fuller House's Season 2 begin, as it's only been a few months since Netflix gave the reboot/sequel a go-ahead. Also, two of its main stars are busy in other projects: Sweetin is currently shooting the Dancing with the Stars Season 22 and planning a reality show with Beverley Mitchell and Christine Lakin; in the meantime, Candace Cameron Bure is currently one of the co-hosts of The View.

In any case, we can probably expect Season 2 of Fuller House to air some time in 2017.
