Boston Marathon Explosion: Fall Out Boy Promises All Proceeds From Boston Concert To Bombing Victims, Families
In a heartfelt message on their website, Fall Out Boy (whose comeback effort Save Rock and Roll debuted today) have promised to donate all proceeds from ticket sales at their Boston arena show to victims of the Boston Marathon bombing and their families.
The band said that normally the day of an album release would be "a day of celebration" but instead they were taking the time to send "our thoughts and prayers to the victims."
They announce the plan to donate all proceeds from their Boston show to victims of the explosions that happened near the finish line of the Boston Marathon yesterday before ending with "We are Americans. This affects us all."
