It looks like rock n' roll legend Stevie Nicks is not afraid to speak bluntly with her friend, actress Reese Witherspoon. According to an interview with ET Canada during the premiere of Nicks' documentary In Your Dreams, the 64-year-old singer said that the 37-year-old actress is just too old to portray her in a biopic film now. So with Reese possibly out of the role, whom do you think could take it on?

In her documentary In Your Dreams, which is about her 2011 album of the same name, Stevie Nicks says that she wanted to have Reese play her in a biopic movie. Witherspoon is even featured in the documentary. It looks like she has changed her mind though, saying, "I've already told [Reese] she's almost too old." The former Fleetwood Mac singer continued, "I love her, but she's like, 'I could play your mother.' I'm like 'O.K.'"

Reese might be a little old, but she has seen a lot of success in at least on other biopic role. In 2005, the then-30-year-old won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and a SAG Award for portraying June Carter in the Johhny Cash biopic Walk the Line opposite Joaquin Phoenix.

The Stevie Nicks biopic is just an idea at this point, but is definitely a possibility. But now that Witherspoon is out of the role (but maybe playing her mother), what starlet can step up for the role of Stevie Nicks?

As far as Nicks' actual film that is out, the singer was a little hesitant about filming it and also releasing it. "I thought a few people would see it and love it and it would go back on the library shelf," she said.  "They say good things come to people who wait... I think good things come to people who don't expect anything."
