'The Voice' Judges Feuding? Usher, Adam Levine Have Their Own Battle Last Night, 2013, Season 4 Battle Rounds Recap, Results
NBC's "The Voice" aired the second night of their season 4 battle rounds last night after an entertaining show Monday night which saw new coach Shakira user her two steals immediately. Shakira took away two of Adam Levine's singers Monday night, will we see any more steals Tuesday night? The battle rounds continued Tuesday night and coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher continued to whittle down their teams.
Adam Levine's team only had one battle Tuesday night with Michael Austin and Warren Stone squaring off. They sang Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party." Stone is the winner and no one uses their steal on Austin, sending him home. Shakira's team also had only one battle Tuesday night with Tawnya Reynolds facing off against Mark Andrew. The female, male match up resulted in Tawnya getting the victory and Andrew being sent home.
The first of Team Usher's two battle's consisted of Jeff Lewis and Josiah Hawley singing "Roxanne" by The Police. The male model Josiah Hawley picks up the victory as Lewis is eliminated. In the second of Team Usher's battles, Audrey Karrasch faced off against Jamila Thompson. Audrey Karrasch gets the victory.
Finally, on Team Blake, Grace Askew goes up against Trevor Davis with Askew picking up the victory. In Team Blake's second battle of the night, Caroline Glaser and Danielle Bradbery sing "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae. The winner is Daniele Bradbery, but both Adam Levine and Usher want to steal Caroline Glaser. Adam Levine's already strong team gets even better after Levine gets to steal Glaser.
One thing to note after last night's episode is the change in Usher's attitude. During the blind auditions Usher came off as a laid back celebrity, but lately he has been showing some attitude. Not sure if it's the way the show is being edited or produced, but at one point during last night's episode, Usher snapped back at Carson Daly after the shows host gave Adam Levine the first opportunity to state his case for a steal.
Could rumors of Usher acting like a diva on "The Voice" set be true?
