The rumor mill will not stop spinning surrounding the latest Superman movie "Man of Steel." In the latest and third trailer for Warner Bros. "Man of Steel" there is more than just a dramatic build up meant to get fans excited for the movie's June 15 release in theaters. Sure, the Zack Snyder directed film, starring Henry Cavill as Superman has comic book and movie fans very excited. There have been plenty of rumors surrounding Luthor's possible role in "Man of Steel" despite Zod being featured as the villain in the movie. In trailer #3 you can see a few glimpses of Michael Shannon's Zod, who plays a remarkably different Zod than the one fans saw previously in the old Christopher Reeve's "Superman" movies.
"Man of Steel" writer David Goyer got the Internet buzzing about Lex Luthor after he said in an interview that no one ever confirmed Luthor would not be in the movie. As for the trailer itself, this video gives fans the best look at "Man of Steel" yet. You can definitely get a taste of Christopher Nolan's impact on "Man of Steel." The Dark Knight" director clearly is using the same technique he did with the Batman franchise that worked so well. It seems as though Superman fans will be getting a glimpse of how Clark Kent came to be Superman, just as Batman fans did with Bruce Wayne. By the looks of the trailer, fans will see the difficulties Kent had to overcome while transforming into Superman. This clearly worked with the Batman franchise, but it remains to be seen if it will also work with Superman.
