Scandal Season 5 Finale Sneak Peek - "That's My Girl" Live Stream [WATCH]
It has come to the time that all Scandal fans have been avoiding, the season finale! After the last episode, the creators have proven why this show is one of the top primetime shows on television right now. On Scandal, things change up as quick as a New York minute and Olivia (Kerry Washington) and Abby (Darby Stanchfield) are out for blood. In "That's My Girl," Liv gets placed into a situation she didn't see coming which can cause a shift in the presidential race.
Last episode, we watched as Liv and Abby decided to use their powers for good and take down Hollis Doyle (Jeff Perry) who is Scandal's version of Donald Trump. Hollis decided to offer a spot on his ticket to whichever candidate decided to drop out of the race first. Of course, Liv being the genius that she is, takes Hollis up on his offer but only to turn the tables and record his disdain for the voters and leak it to the Shade Queen herself, Sally Langston.
While Liv has been trying to take her father, Rowan (Joe Morton), down after he set Jake (Scott Foley) up, she finally succeeded. Edison (Norm Lewis) delivered a speech detailing the craziness of Hollis' plan to make America great again. Making a big move referring to Hollis and his supporters as thugs, Edison got hurt in the cross fire and ended both his and Hollis's campaigns.
Susan (Artemis Pebdani) decided to drop out of the race although David's (Joshua Malina) alliance with Governor Baker went as planned. The Vice President also decided to call her engagement to David off. Abby, who was on a mission to take down Liv, revealed that despite learning about Liv's abortion, she found out that Mellie (Bellamy Young) hired a psychic to communicate with her dead son. Thank God for everyone's sake, Abby didn't release her findings.
In the teaser for episode 21, the election is in anyone's hands. The candidates are selecting running mates and anything is possible. Jake finds himself in trouble and has to rely on Liv but if it has anything to do with Rowan, it may cost him his life. Cyrus has harmful info that can catapult the election and knowing his methods, Cyrus is not afraid of rolling the dice.
The season finale of Scandal will air on Thursday at 9/8c on ABC.
