Black Panther: Twitter Reacts Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o Casting With Chadwick Boseman!
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Marvel Studios have a box office smash with Captain America: Civil War. With Captain America 3 in theaters, Twitter has lots to say about Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o's casting in Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther movie.
As we previously mentioned, based on the Civil War run from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, the Superhero Registration Act has caused a monumental the divide between Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers (Evans). Iron Man appears to be in favor of the government bill that would force heroes to register themselves and reveal their true identities. Sides will be chosen as both leaders form their own teams, but Black Panther is on his own mission.
According to US Weekly, the Fantastic Four actor is in negotiations to re-team with Creed director Ryan Coogler. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens is also in talks to join the cast. No word though about who they will play in the upcoming superhero flick. One source tells The Hollywood Reporter that Jordan could possibly play a villain. Another rumor swirling around is that Nyong'o could be playing the love interest. Black Panther is already making headlines for being the first Marvel movie with a predominately black cast.
