Edward Norton, Shauna Robertson Baby Boy: 'Incredible Hulk' Star and Fiancee Welcome New Son
Two-time Academy Award nominee Edward Norton welcomed his first child, a son with his fiancé Shauna Robertson back in March. The accomplished 43-year-old actor is known for his roles in such movies as Fight Club, 25th Hour, American History X, and Primal Fear. On top of his many accolades, he can now add "father" to his list. Norton has always been private with his personal life but he and Robertson were happy to share the news of their baby boy with the world.
Edward Norton, who is also a screenwriter, director and producer, grew up in Columbia, Maryland, and started acting in 1993. As mentioned before, the actor is very protective about his private life but has dated Selma Hayek and Courtney Love before his relationship with Shauna. Together the two founded CrowdRise, a fundraising website that helps raise money for various charitable causes.
A Canadian film producer, Robertson is 38 years old and the two have been together for about six years now. Shauna has worked on such films as Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Again, Norton has kept this relationship as private as he could, rarely talking about Shauna even with their 2011 engagement. Not much was known about Shauna's pregnancy but the couple is "thrilled and excited" about their new baby. However, the baby was apparently delivered last month, so it seems like the Fight Club actor is still pretty good at keeping his personal life secretive.
Norton has always been a more "down-to-Earth" actor who has had difficulty dealing with his celebrity status. He once said, 'If I ever have to stop taking the subway, I'm gonna have a heart attack.'
In light of the Boston Marathon bombings, Norton shared his feelings and encouraged his followers to give to charities.
