Heading into mid-Week 3 of the MLB 2013 regular season, ESPN sports analysts predict the season outlook team power rankings. The Cubs currently snag the no 26 spot - as sports columnist Joe Aiello points out, "The Cubs have been a comedy of errors on defense, committing 10 miscues in 11 games, and will greatly benefit from the defense of Gold Glove second baseman Darwin Barney when he returns from the DL on Tuesday against the Rangers."
The Cubs head into with a4-9 winning record, having already played the Priates, Braves, Brewers, and Giants.
The Rangers snag the no 7 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to ESPN.com, "Alexi Ogando has pitched well (2-0 with a 1.08 ERA and a .194 batting average against) in his first three starts to begin the season."
The Rangers currently have three wins and two losses against the Houston Astros. Texas won Game 1 against LA with a score of 3-2.
Rangers snag heading into Thursday's game, having played the Astros, Angels, Rays, and Mariners. Texas proved victorious in Game 1 against the Cubs with a score of 4-2. Game 2 was postponed on Wednesday, so will be played this afternoon.
The ball game will be broadcasted live on MLBN and local channels WGN but fans can listen in on the radio at ESPN Dallas, KGNC, KZNE, KOGT, WGN, WSCR, and ESPN 1050.
