Kate Middleton Baby Bump, Due Date: Pregnant Duchess' Slim Figure 'Healthy,' Named on 'Time' Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in The World
Though Kate Middleton is 6 months pregnant, her lack of a baby bump is discouraging for those whoa are following the Duchess' pregnancy. With only 3 more months until the future heir to the throne is birthed, some people have even called her "mommyrexic" due to her slim figure. So fitness expert to the stars, Laura Williams, recently decided to share her opinion on the skinny mother-to-be. Also, thanks to Kate's influence in the fashion world and her affect on her adoring fans, Time magazine has included her on its list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World.
The 31-year-old royal is among many Hollywood stars, athletes, politicians, and others in the coveted influencers list. She is joined by Music mogul Jay-Z, his wife Beyonce, actress Jennifer Lawrence, and television personality Jimmy Fallon (to name a few). Kate falls under the 'Icons" category of the list and her article is (appropriately) written by Sally Bedell Smith, the author of Elizabeth the Queen: The Life of a Modern Monarch. Here is the article:
Kate Middleton, whose ancestors toiled in the coal mines of Durham, was an ordinary college girl on a path to an unremarkable life. Then she met her Prince Charming, became the Duchess of Cambridge and in two years has emerged as a remarkable figure on the world stage. The future Queen is dignified, dutiful and unflappable, with a modest reluctance to steal the spotlight from her husband, Prince William. As patron of a growing number of charities, she has embraced the royal family's tradition of public service, whether promoting scouting around a campfire or discussing sustainable fishing with trawler owners. Her elegant wardrobe has enormous popular appeal that has boosted the British fashion industry. In three months, she will take on the role of thoroughly modern mother. After changes to the law of male primogeniture, Kate's baby, whether a boy or a girl, will be third in line to the throne, setting the seal on the British monarchy for decades to come.
Kate's slim figure causes conscern.
Since a lot of attention is one Kate and her growing baby bump, fitness expert Laura Williams shared her opinion on the pregnant Duchess. Williams says:
"Eating regularly to maintain even blood sugar and energy levels is essential. As is having a balanced diet full of nutrient-rich foods, while avoiding high-calorie foods that are low on nutrition".
Williams also talks about Kate's love of fitness and staying fit while pregnant with yoga. The fitness expert say that she "should keep her strength up" by working on "core strength with moves like the cat arch and superman, both of which are perfectly safe to do throughout pregnancy".
Williams also shared some advice with the royal on keeping all areas of her body strong and fit after her July delivery: "If Kate has gained very little weight, it'll be easier for her to fit back into her pre-pregnancy clothes, but she will still have to work on her core and pelvic floor muscles as pregnancy and childbirth will take their toll on these areas regardless of her size".
