'RHOC' Vicki Gunvalson Says Jim Edmonds 'Disinterested' in Meghan's Embryo Procedure
Fans of RHOC watched on this past week's episode as Meghan King Edmonds got pregnant through in-vitro fertilization. However, while the moment was definitely a happy one for Edmonds it seemed that there was a slight disappointment during the momentous occasion. Her husband Jim Edmonds wasn't able to be there for the moment of conception and his absence was definitely felt by the Meghan, as well as by some other leading ladies from Orange County, including Vicki Gunvalson.
According to Radar Online, veteran housewife Gunvalson felt some empathy for her frenemy Edmond's situation, as she thought her husband definitely should have been there to support his wife during this situation.
The 54-year-old housewife took to her blog to express her thoughts on the situation, saying, "I felt bad for Meghan on this week's episode that Jim was not there to experience the implant of their two embryos."
"To me he just seems so disinterested," she continued. "I know that will change once he holds his baby, but during this process he looks so removed."
In related news, Meghan shared the sonogram to her Instagram account of the two embryos which were implanted, writing that the she was hoping to have a boy and a girl, but that there might be complications.
"Our boy is on top and our girl is on bottom. We did ICSI with assisted hatching," the star said in the Instagram caption. "The baby part of the boy has strongly defined cells and is still hatching but his placenta is highly differentiated and this is cause to think he might not attach. The girl is fully hatched and looks great in every way."
Gunvalson seemed to be excited about the news that Meghan could be having twins, a boy and girl, as she wrote in her blog, "I think they made a wise decision about implanting two embryos, both boy and a girl not knowing which one or if both of them would take or not."
Congrats to Meghan and Jim during this exciting time!
