Teen Mom 2 Jenelle Evans Miscarriage Drama Before Latest Pregnancy
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans might be pregnant with her third child but the star is revealing that the road to get here was not an easy one. The 24-year-old star of the MTV reality series, who is already mother to 7-year-old, Jace, and 2-year-old Kaiser, says that prior to get pregnant this time around that she suffered a miscarriage.
The star states that she was pregnant back in April, but that shortly after getting the news, she suffered a miscarriage.
"I was really, really confused because I was seeing an endocrinologist for my health issues I've been having, and she told me that she did blood tests on me to check everything out," the star explained to Us Weekly. "She wasn't even trying to check for pregnancy."
She says that it was a difficult road to figuring out what was wrong with her, because she did a bunch of tests and even went to another doctor to get a second opinion.
"I had an appointment with him while I was in L.A. for the reunion, and I said, 'Look, my endocrinologist says I'm pregnant, now I'm bleeding, I need to know what's up,'" Evans recalled. "And he was like, 'Well, we did an ultrasound, we did a urine sample and we did a blood test. Everything is coming back that you're not pregnant.'"
"So I told my endocrinologist, and when I went home, my endocrinologist said, 'Well, it looks like you had a miscarriage,"' she continued. "So actually instead of it being my period I [thought I] had, I guess [it was] a miscarriage the month before I even got pregnant. And that's when everyone thought I was pregnant at first."
However, Evans is currently expecting her third child, with boyfriend David Eason, and she couldn't be more ecstatic.
"I've got my girl now, and I'm very ecstatic, very happy to be actually decorating stuff and all girls stuff, and all my friends are like, 'Oh my gosh, you're going to be so spoiled!'" the star said to Us Weekly. "Because all my friends, they just have little boys, so it's like everyone is just so super excited for me!"
