Kevin Jonas, Selena Gomez: Did Jonas Brothers Member Call 'Come & Get It' Singer Overrated? 'Married to Jonas' Star Talks Psy, Demi Lovato, and MORE
Did Kevin Jonas diss Selena Gomez? Jonas Brothers member and star of E!'s "Married to Jonas" took on the brave task of answering fans questions on live TV recently. On Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live's" "Plead the Fifth" segment, Kevin Jonas was not only asked which of his ex girlfriends he likes the least, but who he thinks the most overrated performer is. Did Kevin indsult Selena Gomez with his response?
According to PopCrush, Kevin proceeded with extreme caution in his answer, not wanting to give a name right away to the least favorite girlfriend question. "My least favorite - so the one I don't like the most?" Kev asked. "You know, there's a lot of them. Is that an answer? 'There's too many to count'?" So Kevin was able to steer clear of that question, which could have gotten him in a lot of trouble with an ex.
Kevin wasn't as lucky when answering the next question. Kevin was asked who he thinks is the most overrated pop star right now. When the host threw Demi Lovato's name out there Kevin was quick to come to her defense. "Have you heard that song? She can sing her a- off! All the success to her." Kevin continued by delivering what some think may have been a diss towards Selena Gomez. "Did you watch the MTV - no, I'm not going there," said Kevin. Was he talking about Selena's "MTV Movie Awards" performance of her new single "Come & Get It?" Quite possibly, but of course, this is just speculation.
Kevin continued to try and explain himself while probably just digging a bigger hole. "Some people should stick to movies, some people should do music, so I'm gonna just say there's a group out there ... it's not a group, it's a person, and I'm trying to be so nice and I can't be nice. We'll just say Psy." Oh, that's nice, just insult Psy while you're at it Kevin.
So do you think Kevin was referencing Selena Gomez? If so, do you agree with him that she is one of the more overrated pop stars today?
