Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, John Mayer: 'Friends' Star and Fiance Dine Next to 'Gravity' Singer Ex-Boyfriend, Wedding News?

On Wednesday night, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer went out for dinner at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, but obviously not together. Jen was there with her fiancée Justin Theroux as well as Chelsea Handler and her boyfriend Andre Balazs. Mayer was there with a male friend. What made the night even more awkward is that the former lovers actually sat only two tables apart from each other. Did any drama go down at this dinner?

Fortunately no, nothing happened. The two apparently did not acknowledge each other but according to a source, Mayer "saw her when he came in."

All drama was reportedly avoided and the source added, "There was a bottle of wine on Jen's table. Looked like a cute dinner with friends. They are all having fun and Jen and Justin look very sweet together."

There has been no word on who the 35-year-old singer dined with that night.

John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston dated briefly in 2008, broke up, reconciled, and then decided to split for good in 2009.

The 44-year-old actress and her 41-year-old actor fiancé dated for over a year before becoming engaged in August of 2012. Tabloids have been hard-pressed to find at any and all details about the highly anticipated Theroux and Aniston wedding. Apparently there has yet to be anything to report on that matter.

Not even her close friend, late night talk show host, Chelsea Handler (of "Chelsea Lately") has any clue about the wedding.

"I know she's engaged but that's all I know. I'm sure I'll find out about it when it's about to happen ... for privacy issues." Handler added, "I honestly don't know anything about it. She doesn't consult me on her plans."

However, according to a source for PEOPLE, "It will be a small affair with their closest friends."
