Jayma Mays, Adam Campbell, blessed with birth of a baby boy

Glee star Jayma Mays, who famously played the role of Emma Pillsbury, has given birth to a healthy baby boy. This serves as good news for Jayma's fans, as the actress celebrated this special moment with her husband, British actor Adam Campbell.

According to E! News, the couple named their firstborn Jude.

The acting duo famously kept their personal lives very private, but the exciting news of their son's birth came out on November 6. Jayma and Adam sure know to keep a secret, as the couple announced that they are expecting their first child back in April 2016. 

Jayma currently has commitments with the NBC comedy Trial & Error, which co-stars John Lightgow, Sherri Shepherd, and Steven Boyer. The show will premiere next year, and it features Jayma as an assistant district attorney named Carol Anne Keane, a prosecutor going after Lithgow's character over his wife's murder, the International Business Times has reported.

Having risen to fame in Fox's now-classic musical series Glee, Jayma embarked on an acting and singing career, which stems back from her first television appearance back in 2004. Her marriage to Adam in 2007 emerged because of their sibling-role pairing on the film Epic Movie. The pair met on the set of said movie in 2006, after which - three months to be exact, they began dating.

Jude's welcome into the lives of Jayma and Adam serves as just a wonderful example of current pregnancy and motherhood stories in Hollywood right now. Actress Naya Rivera - Glee's Santana Lopez, gave birth to her first child, named Josey Hollis Dorsey. Another actress, Heather Morris (known as Brittany Pierce on Glee), recently gave birth to her second child.

Suffice to say, both Jayma and Adam are having the time of their lives with their new baby, and congratulations are in order for the lovely couple.
