Cops Confiscate 2-Pound Joint at California 4/20 Rally, Denver Colorado Shooting Same Day [VIDEOS]: Big Buzzkills

April 20 is known for being the day to celebrate everything about marijuana. So when a man decided to unveil a 4-foot-long, 2-pound joint at a rally at the University of California (which started at 4:20 PM), people were pretty excited. Police however cut the excitement short as they confiscated the large amount of weed. The owner of the large pot cigarette was none too pleased and threatened to take the cops to court for harassment. Talk about a buzzkill, right?

Prescription marijuana use is legal in the state of California, however having 2 pounds of the substance on your person in not. Instead of arresting the weed connoisseur, the police simply confiscated the large joint. Of course the sculptor/owner was not too happy about this. As the police were walking away with the joint, the man responsible for it followed alongside the officers saying, "You lied to me, too. Dude you're a liar. You're a liar.... I can't wait to see you in court. I can show how you're harassing me. We're going to court, man. We're totally going to court."

He had more complaints, but mainly he kept telling the cops that he would see them in court. There has yet to be any announcement about any court dates or possible lawsuits.

The University of California campus police chief Nader Oweis stated earlier this month that these 4/20 festivities pretty much always introduce some unpleasant events. Oweis said, " Last year, our officers even identified a registered sex offender among those present, as well as a runaway juvenile from out of state."

Though this story might seem sad for the joint constructer, there was definitely a much more serious and sadder story from 4/20. In Denver, Colorado, another state where weed is legalized, a shooting resulted in a person and a dog being shot and injured.
