Known as one of the biggest smartphone manufacturers worldwide, Huawei, which means "Chinese achievement," has been dominant in the Chinese market for some time. Founded in 1987, it has been working with the international market since the late 90's. Although it enjoys strong sales in some countries, it has been facing some challenge in the West, especially in the US, due to the barring the US government placed on the company from selling its network equipment to US carriers.
