Janet Jackson High Risk Pregnancy Scare; Husband Terrified of Home Birth
Janet Jackson's husband Wissam Al Mana freaked out when he learned that his 50-year old wife wanted a home birth. The "Rhythm Nation" singer insisted on a natural water birth at home and says that she is feeling fine. Her age automatically qualifies her for high-risk pregnancy and should consider safer options to give birth. But Janet is not just scaring her husband but the rest of her family too as she stubbornly wants her own way.
Hollywood Life said that Janet Jackson's doctors wanted her to undergo a cesarean section in a hospital because this is the safest option given her age. But the singer/actress wanted a method that is more comfortable and no one, even her doctors, can't talk her out of it.
A source close to Janet said that she wanted a water birth at home but with the help of a midwife. The source also added that she is quite nervous since this is her first baby and being in her own home would help ease tension. Janet is indeed very popular and her home would give her the privacy that she needs.
Wissam usually gets through Janet and her family wants him to talk her out of her dangerous idea. But it seems that Janet is going to have her way whether her husband and family likes it or not.
Page Six reported days ago that Janet reassured her fans and followers that she was OK through social media. She posted a message on Twitter saying that she thanks everyone for their prayers and love. She ended her short message with "Al Hamdu Iillah."
Janet has remained silent about her condition since she announced in April that she and her husband were starting a family. She also cancelled her "Unbreakable Word Tour" because she needed rest.
The singer's family and fans hope that Wissam could talk Janet out of her decision and to do what's best for her and their first baby.
