The 2013 Billboard Music Awards hosted by Tracy Morgan is sure to be a spectacular event. With performances by Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift (to name a few) it will definitely go down as one of history's best. But who will come out a winner and who will go home empty handed? The night's big battle, "Top Artist," is already starting to heat up with One Directin, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Rihanna and Taylor Swift all making the cut. Who is you money on?

One Direction is looking at a heated battle with Justin Bieber for the Top Artist prize. But don't count out the other nominees: Rihanna, Maroon 5, and Taylor Swift.

In addition to the normal accolades, there will also be a "Milestone" category. Here is the synopsis of this category from the Billboard website:

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will celebrate the ingenuity of this year's hitmakers with the new Milestone Award, presented by Chevrolet. Your votes have narrowed the field down to three finalists who have had amazing achievements on the Billboard charts in the past year. Now, it's up to you to decide who takes home the award! Vote for your favorite below and tune in to see who wins during the Billboard Music Awards, Sunday, May 19th 8|7c on ABC.

Breaking into the usual pop-dominated awards show is the genre of electronic dance music (EDM). This category features Skrillex, David Guetta, Clavin Harris and even brings in the 23-year-old "Harlem Shake" sensation Baauer.

But with all of these fresh faces and young stars, the night's main attraction is 54-year-old Prince. The superstar will receive the 2013 Billboard Icon gong. He will also be performing at the ceremony in Las Vegas. Other performers include Bieber, Swift, Bruno Mars and Miguel.
