Kanye West Finally Home! Spent a Week of No Phones, No Computers in Hospital
Kanye West is finally home after a week of stay at the UCLA Medical Center. The rapper was confined because of exhaustion and has fully recovered. Sources say that aside from his workaholic lifestyle, Kanye's mental breakdown stemmed from Kim's terrible experience in Paris where she was robbed at gun point inside her apartment. To completely recover, his doctor advised no phones, no computers while he was at the hospital.
According to E! News, Kanye was admitted at the hospital on November 21. He was about to go on stage for a concert in Saint Pablo when he decided to cancel the event and to immediately see his physician. He was with his personal trainer Harley Pasternak when he voluntarily submitted himself to the UCLA Medical Center.
Reports said that West's personal physician made the 911 call saying that it was a medical emergency. The actual 911 call was obtained by TMZ and it said that the emergency was classified as a "psychiatric emergency."
The "Famous" singer was said to be unstable while confined at the UCLA but by Tuesday, sources said that he was feeling better. The source also confirmed that the rapper was just holding on and was about to quit during his tour.
Meanwhile, US Magazine reported that Kim Kardashian was by her husband's side while he stayed at the UCLA. The ordeal was described as "hell" for the couple but the reality star said that she is grateful that Kanye is getting the help that he needs.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was about to attend the Angel Ball in New York City when she heard of the news. She turned around and headed to LA to be with Kanye. The Angel Ball was supposed to be Kim's first public appearance after the incident in Paris.
It took the "Mercy" singer a week to completely recover and was not held against his will, like reports said. A source said that Kanye was just not ready and it took him a week to do so. He will attend counselling after this hospitalization despite his busy work schedule because he still feels weak and drained.
