Charlie Sheen has just revealed that he is in complete suppression and he is doing great, without any side effects from his treatment. He credits his recovery from an experimental drug called PRO-140 which he injects once a week. The "Two and a Half Men" actor was spotted attending a movie premiere this week looking very happy. Fans and followers of Charlie Sheen are happy for his recovery but are worried that this could lead him back to his partying lifestyle.

Mail Online extensively reported Charlie's recovery and highlighted recent advancements in the treatment of HIV. The report said that Charlie has started his treatment early this year and it was unlike any other HIV treatment. Traditional antiretroviral therapy or ART involved taking daily cocktail doses of a number of medications. PRO-140 is injected weekly and has no side effects.

Charlie announced that the virus is no longer detectable. He even shared the text message that he got from PRO-140 clinical drug trial director Dr. Nader Pourhassan. The text message said that his latest two VL results are both TND or target not detectable. The doctor told Sheen that his HIV is in complete suppression and expressed his best regards.

Meanwhile, Perez Hilton has also reported Charlie Sheen's recovery. He said that the "Anger Management" star credits his recovery to CytoDyn; a company that helped him undergo experimental trial which changed his life. He gushed: "It's impossibly amazing."

"One minute you're on the road to perdition, the next you're on the road to providence."

The actor refers to the events that have happened last year as he revealed his HIV positive diagnosis on national TV. Following this revelation was a slew of lawsuits that he got from ex-lovers, sex workers and from people who think he might have contaminated with HIV.

He is on the road to recovery but surely he wouldn't want to be on that other side of the road again. "Personally, I think about how I felt on the day and how I feel today." The "Platoon" star has completely transformed and just in time to celebrate AIDS awareness which he plans to be part of this year.

Congratulations Charlie!
