The Season 3 for Competitive Play for "Overwatch" has started and it looks like game developer Blizzard has some changes that players are upset about. The skill rating system of "Overwatch" has been upped as too many players have been placed in Gold and Platinum ranks. However, a new Christmas update is rumored to be coming which may delight fans.

Blizzard has been known to host themed events for "Overwatch" and it seems they are gearing up for a Christmas update for this month's festivities. According to ItechPost, some dataminers have found four new maps for "Overwatch" to be released in time for the rumored Christmas event which will be released on December 13.

It is not known if all four maps will be temporary or will have decorations including Christmas trees, ornaments, lights or snow. However, if an "Overwatch" Christmas event is to come, heroes are expected to have similar themed-skins or costumes, voice lines and victory pose among others to match. Blizzard is yet to make an announcement regarding the rumors.

There is one constant thing that "Overwatch" players argue and that is the best main hero for competitive rank plays. However, it has been rumored that Roadhog tops all characters as he is the one used by top ranked "Overwatch" player, Evermore.

According to Kotaku, Evermore has topped the 5,000 skill rating since "Overwatch" Season 3 began. Evermore is a Korean professional player named Koo Kyo Min of Team KongDoo Panthera and has achieved this feat just a few hours after the season started. His next played hero in the competitive play is Zarya.

Evermore manages Roadhog with amazing plays on gun accuracy and flanking his hook instead of being the usual tank. With the adjustments in the skill rating system in "Overwatch," his stats are even more impressive because the character's initial skill ratings have been lowered. However, Blizzard has noted that getting to the top will require players to main most heroes instead of having only 1 or 2 mains in the game.

For those who haven't got their copy of "Overwatch," it is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
