Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 News: Leaked Images Shows Big Camera, Amazing Features And More
The Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is one of the most awaited smartphones in 2017. The Redmond-based company has remained silent on the details of the rumored device. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella clearly mentioned that the company has refuses to rush things and will be only aiming for impressive specs for their touted "ultimate mobile device."
The fresh images of the supposed Microsoft Surface Phone leaked on Weibo, a Chinese social media site. The leaked were clear enough to reveal some interesting physical features of the upcoming Microsoft smartphone, however it drop no light on the possible release date in 2017.
As per the leaked images by Nokia Power User via Weibo, the device sports a slim brick-like structure and snow-hued cover on the back with a very large camera in circular shape, and having Carl Zeiss tag on it.
From the images it has been concluded that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be a Phablet Sized phone. Though it's difficult to decide on the given the lack of scale, the phone seems to be a bit bigger than expected, adjacent on phablet sizes rather than standard smartphone. However it is considerably slim.
The device will be featuring the grille speakers at both the top and bottom and also have a large camera with a Carl Zeiss tag that already promises high-definition images. Microsoft is also engraved near the flash.
Although a lot of users has speculate that the phone will run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, International Business Times report shows that the Surface Phone 2017 is still presumed to be in development stage. Furthermore, Microsoft has neither confirmed nor denied popular fan theory.
Other features that can be seen in the image include three capacitive touch screen buttons, the standard "back", "home" and "recent" options with an earphone jack at the top. There is also a port at 3.5mm. At the bottom there is a USB Type-C port for charging, file transfer, and more.
The leaked images are genuine but Microsoft has not released any statement officially. Microsoft is expected to wait until the second half 2017, if not in the first quarter of 2018 to announce the new Surface phone.
