AMD Radeon RX 570 Spotted in Samsung Booth At CES 2017, Featuring 8GB Of VRAM
A few days ago Radeon RX 560M was spotted in Lenovo laptop Y520's and yet again another unannounced graphics card has been spotted in another laptop. This time it is Radeon 570 which was spotted at Samsung's Booth CES 2017. It will be part of Samsung latest notebook Odyssey and will have RX 570.
The source and the image are coming from a Reddit user, who spotted the specifications of upcoming Samsung Notebook Odyssey. Radeon 570 spotted in the graphics specification section. The upcoming laptop features a 17.3-inch screen with 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor and, 64GB DDR4 memory.
User wrote on Reddit post that, "The card IS an OEM version of the 470. I asked an AMD rep at their booth about it. The 500 series is an OEM rebadged of the 400 series, like how the 8000 series was to the 7000 series."
Earlier, in an advertisement by Lenovo, AMD RX 560M was spotted. Lenovo unintentionally leaked the yet unreleased RX 500 Series Radeon graphics card. Lenovo Y520's graphics card section described the details of RX 560M.
According to official website, Y520 will be the next generation graphics card that will include: Nvidia GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti, and AMD RX 560M. Lenovo Y520 advertisement laid the ground work that AMD Radeon RX 500 series will come, this year, reports Segment Next.
It was about time that Radeon 570 spotted by crazybubba64, who is a reddit user. Furthermore, the user has also approached a Samsung official to confirm if the specifications in the image were type mistake or they are true. To reply, Samsung said it is not a type mistake. Moreover, in a recent update the user has mentioned that, the card is an OEM version of Radeon 470. AMD has also confirmed the same sometime later.
