"Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that the show is about to take a more dramatic and surprising turn after Hope breaks out of prison. Viewers are wondering who helped her and where she could be hiding now. The show that hints Eric might have something to do with it.

New crime problems pop up in Salem while Hope breaks out of prison

In the Thursday episode, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) proposed to Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Brady (Eric Martsolf) isn't too happy about it, though. This could cause another problem for Deimos, who gets into a verbal fight with Andre over the stolen microchips. This is going to promise a possible violent storyline involving rival crime gangs in Salem.

Eduardo (A. Martinez) meanwhile believes that Kate (Lauren Koslow) was the one responsible for the missing technology. If that isn't enough of a complication, the Brady family learns that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has broken out of prison.

According to IB Times Australia, this is going to drive a wedge between the main characters. Rafe (Galen Gering) blames the new predicament on Shawn (Brandon Beemer), considering Hope is his mother.

Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), however, defends her brother. Despite that, Shawn promises to find Hope. It's going to prove difficult when Hope is taken by a mysterious man.

"Days of Our Lives" spoilers this week reveal Eric saving Hope

It turns out that Hope was still hiding in Salem at this time. Chet (Jeffrey Markle) opens the dumpster to get out Hope, who physically attacks him. While Chet is struggling to talk some sense into her, Hope slips and hits her head.

She loses consciousness so Chet, afraid, uses the opportunity to make a run for it. A mysterious man then carries Hope away. Inquisitr reveals that this man is, in fact, Eric (Greg Vaughan).

After Eric's release from prison, he hid out in his old farmhouse. It's not clear why he saved Hope, but "Days of Our Lives" spoilers hint that this could be a chance for the viewers to see a deeper side to Eric's troubles. Hope, too, will be able to reveal some of her secrets to her new caretaker.

Eventually, the police will find Hope, but how will this bode for Eric, who is trying to come to terms with his past and his future? Watch out for the newest "Days of Our Lives" episode every 1 PM on NBC.
