Samsung Galaxy Note 7 failure has built immense pressure on the company to launch its successor. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is coming and it has been confirmed that the phone will be launched after the Galaxy S8. The phone will feature top notch specifications and it seems it will be one of the best phones of 2017.
Release Date
Samsung usually launches its Note series smartphones every year at the IFA Tech Show in Berlin around September. This year also, Samsung is expected to launch the Note 8 in early September 2017.
Specifications
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will bump up the resolution and will feature a 4K Super AMOLED Display at 5.7-inches complete with a Gorilla Glass 5. The exclusive feature to Note Series, S-Pen will make its way to Note 8 this time as well, reports The Inquirer. An improved version of the iris scanner in the Galaxy Note 7 will make its way to Galaxy Note 8. The phone will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat and some exciting S-Pen features.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chip will power the device coupled with at least 6GB RAM. USB Type-C, adaptive fast charging and wireless charging will be some of the features of the phablet. The device will be waterproof and will support VR.
Features
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature an iris scanner, fingerprint sensor, heart rate sensor and might feature superior audio capabilities from Harman, since Samsung acquired Harman last year. The new smartphone might feature a completely new design as well as removal of the home button, reports PCAdvisor. This time Samsung might also include an AI Assistant as well as a new personal assistant rivaling Apple's Siri.
Pricing
The pricing of the phone will be similar to that of Galaxy Note 7 and a premium version with 256GB of internal storage might be launched and this version will be priced higher. Stay tuned for more updates!
