Kaley Cuoco Hair Bangs: 'Big Bang Theory' Star Explains SAG Awards Choice on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' [VIDEO] To Cover Black Eye [PHOTO]
"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco wowed those in attendance at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month. However, Cuoco did the exact opposite when she donned a completely different hair style at January's SAG awards. Cuoco finally came clean on Thursday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to explain what prompted her to go with a hairstyle some described as hideous.
Cuoco's fame has skyrocketed over the last few years since CBS's hit sitcom "Big Bang Theory" has become television's must see show. Cuoco plays Penny who lives across the hall from a group of geeks. More recently you can see Cuoco on various commercials, most notably in ad's for Toyota's RAV4 in which Cuoco plays a genie granting people wishes.
As is the case with any popular Hollywood starlet, their style and look is a hot topic among fans and critics. This is why, every time Cuoco is seen at an award show, premiere, or just strolling around in public she gets judged on her style.
Cuoco turned some heads at January's SAG Awards, but not for the right reasons. Cuoco showed up sporting some serious bangs, which got blasted by style experts. Cuoco recently came clean on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" when she told the host the bangs were meant to cover up a black eye she got while taping "Big Bang Theory."
"It was really, really bad," Cuoco explained told Kimmel. "So I decided to have the brilliant idea to get bangs. As you can see I don't have bangs so I had to get fake bangs. A bunch of them said 'let's maybe not do the bangs,' but I wanted to wear them because it covered my eye and I was really insecure about this huge black eye."
