As fans rejoiced at Chris Brown and Rihanna's reconciliation, Clinton Brown, Chris Brown's father was apparently not happy that the two superstars decided to get back together. In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, Clinton Brown revealed that he does not support Chris Brown and Rihanna's relationship. He said, "I personally really didn't want him and Rihanna back together."

The interview comes after a weekend of drinking and debauchury for RiRi.  The "Stay" singer posted pictures to her Instagram account of her self backstage at the Diamonds World Tour in various poses all while "pouring it up" straight from the bottle.

The NY Daily News asked Clinton Brown why he thought that a relationship between his "Fine China" singer son, and the pop princess would not work and Clinton said, "You have to have a balance in a relationship." You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical," Chris Brown's father said.

Clinton Brown also discussed Chris Brown's 2009 assault charges; he faced after a domestic dispute with Rihanna on the night of the Grammy Awards. Clinton Brown said the assault "was not one-sided." "One has to assume because they are back together that it wasn't one-sided," he said. "You just have to imagine it was a circumstance in which they both had a disagreement."

While Clinton Brown does not want his son in a relationship with RiRi he maintains that once she changes her lifestyle she would be a great role model and mom. "Rihanna would make a good mom. I think she would probably have to change some of her antics - the party attitude would probably have to change." He added, "I don't think they would just whimsically and spontaneously have a child with them being in this mode. That's why I don't see it happening - but anything's possible, man."

If Clinton Brown could have his pick of celebrity woman for his son, he said he would choose Jordin Sparks. "I personally liked Jordin Sparks. She's a wholesome young lady, very pretty." Unfortunately for Clinton, Jordin Sparks is in a relationship with Jason Derulo
