'Gotham' Welcome ‘Harley Quinn’ Character For Upcoming Season 3

'Gotham' show introduces a brand new character alongside the Joker on Season three finale. John Stephens, executive producer of the show drama, confirmed that 'Harley Quinn' will be arriving soon in Gotham. Stephens assures the team will come up with a new version of Quinn, he said, at the TCA Winter Press Tour event.

The producers are still working on the look of the character, but it's official that the Joker's (Jerome Valeska) partner in crime will be at the series anytime soon. The network also confirmed that Cameron Monaghan as Jerome, will return to 'Gotham'. Maybe Harley and Jerome will team-up for the next seasons to come.

The 'Suicide Squad' favorite girl villain, actually is a strong reference about how Harley Quinn should rlook, explains Stephens. The team didn't want to rush her entry on 'Gotham' because of the recent version shown in the movie, played by Margot Robbie. Quinn role will be more likely seen on season three finale or in the first episode of season four, according to TV Guide.

Harley Quinn will be on the show before than expected. Stephens quoted, "We might see [her] in Episode 22," about season three upcoming episodes.

For the execs, Harley Quinn will be the "launching point" and the central focus for the upcoming seasons. He also said, that "It's going to be crazy" what is to come with the entry of this new character.

Stephen revealed more saying, "The Harley Quinn of it all is a bit more of a sticky wicket but it's one we've already thought about for the character. We don't want to give much away, but it will definitely be someone connected to the Joker cult world that we have set up", relates Ace Showbiz.

The press conference couldn't end the Q&A round, without asking Gotham's producers who is going to play Harley Quinn. Stephen didn't hesitate to say that the audience already "knows her" and they had seen her in past seasons too.

According to some fans' reviews, they suspect Harley Quinn could be played by Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) for two reasons: first, she and Jerome played together in a partnership role and second, the actress is there since Season two, relates the same source.

The upcoming episode promo video is titled "Smile Like You Mean It" set to be aired on January, 23. Maybe the network is giving hints before the news of Harley new role in 'Gotham'.

Hopefully, Gotham's version of Harley Quinn fulfills the audience high expectation about this character about to see on season three finale or first episode of season four, this year.
