Duggar Family News: Counting On Season 3 To Tackle Derick's Health Issues; Jill's Pregnancy

For several months now, fans have been expressing concern about the state of Derick Dillard's health after recent photos of him show Jill Duggar's husband losing a huge amount of weight, especially around the time the family went to Central America to conduct missionary work.

According to report by IJR, Jill has already addressed the concerns about her husband's health by sharing a post on the Dillard Family Blog explaining Derick's sudden weight loss and gaunt appearance.

Jill, who is now pregnant with baby number 2, explained that while she and her husband were generally healthy people overall, they cannot help but be susceptible to common "travelers' stuff" while adjusting to the food in a different environment.

She however clarified that they were not infected by Zika virus to allay speculations raised by some of their fans.

A report by The Hollywood Gossip cited a trailer for the third season of TLC's Counting On which seemed like it was about to include the issue of Derick's health in the lineup of things to look out for.

The cited the clip which showed a thinner Derick Dillard having a run but looking frail and nauseous afterwards. Jill explained that her husband had a tendency to be "gaggy" after a run. The clip further shows Derick visiting a doctor and even expressing excitement  for the visit to finally get to the bottom of his reaction to running.

Aside from Derick's health issues, the reality show is expected to follow Jill's second pregnancy and see how big brother Israel will react to the new addition to the family. The show is also expected to see how Jeremy Vuolo is adjusting to life as the latest member of the Duggar clan following his marriage to Jinger.

The season is also expected to follow Joy Anna Duggar's courtship and the possibility that she could be the next Duggar bride if things go well with the  courtship.
