Jason Aldean Divorce: Country Star, Jessica Ussery Split after Brittany Kerr Cheating/Kissing Scandal, Sites 'Irreconcilable Differences'

Reports confirm that country crooner Jason Aldean officially filed for divorce from his longtime high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery on Friday, April 26 siting "irreconcilable differences." As Mstars originally reported, Aldean and Ussery were experiencing "marital problems" following the "Dirty Road Anthem" star's scandalous kiss with former "American Idol" beauty, Brittany Kerr. The couple attempted to work things out after Aldean issued a public apology in regards to his "drunken" cheating, but things couldn't be mended.

Aldean filed divorce papers in Tennessee on April 26 - officially pulling the plug on his 11-year marriage with Ussery (the couple has two daughters together). The 36-year-old "Big Green Tractor" singer filed the divorce papers on the same day his reps announced that he and his wife had separated. It was reported that the couple were indeed "having marriage problems," but it wasn't confirmed that they were getting a divorce until now.

Several gossip reports confirm that seven months after country star Jason Aldean cheated on his longtime wife Jessica Ussery with former "American Idol" beauty Brittany Kerr, the couple has finally parted ways. Although the husband and wife have not officially announced their separation, an insider close to the situation confirms that the duo's experienced marriage problems for quite some time now. It all started back in September when 36-year-old Aldean was spotted kissing 24-year-old Kerr in a crowded Hollywood bar on the Sunset Strip. After issuing a public apology for "embarrassing" his family, it looked like Aldean and Ussery were ready to work things out. But the relationship couldn't be mended, and Aldean packed up his things back in January.

Aldean and Ussery are high school sweethearts who married in 2001. They have two daughters together - Keeley (10) and Kendyl (5). Following the highly-publicized bar hook-up, Ussery stuck by her man. But apparently the flame eventually died out.

A rep for the "Dirt Road Anthem" crooner recently admitted to People, "I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share with the press at this time. It's a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way."

Another source confirmed to Us Weekly, "There were obvious problems before the bar kiss, but he finally left earlier this year."

Back in March, Ussery attended Aldean's Madison Square Garden concert in NYC - she was even spotted sitting on her husband's lap at the after party. But then at the Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this month, Aldean was spotted walking the red carpet solo.
