Pokemon Sun and Moon Updates: February Alolan Battle Competitions, Pokemon Shuffle And More

Pokemon Sun and Moon offers a lot of event this February. A lot of competitions are brewing, including another Alolan-only Pokemon Competition. QR teams and in-game events are also in the list of things to be checked.

First thing first, the Pokemon Sun and Moon Global Missions is out. The mission's theme is to trade Pokemon as much as you can through the Pokemon Global Trade station. One million Pokemon is needed to bear the Pokemon Global Mission. The rewards if the mission is beaten would be 2000 FC nd 200 FC if failed. If the game is tied to a Global link account, 4000 FC will be rewarded for success and 400 for failure. Rare candy will be given to every 5 Pokemon traded on GTS during the mission. The mission will end on February 14 2017.

The 2017 Internatinal Challenge February Competition is announced and it will be a double battle competition and will be using VGC 2017 Rules. This competition will only be available for Alolan Pokedex, excluding Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Magearna, Necrozma and Zygarde. The use of Megastone is also not allowed. Reistration will start on February 16 to 23 and battles will run from February 24 to 26.

You can now use QR codes to share your team with other players and use them in the Battle Tree. Global Link will also provide the "top teams". There is a Builder rank available and rank increases the more someone uses the player's team. Happiness-based moves such as Return and Frustration are reset to their default. A special Friendly Competition is now available for this event.

In Pokemon Shuffle, new challenges are available for Pokemon Shuffle and Pokemon Shuffle Mobile. Freebies and boosts are available for top players. The top 200 players of Europe and 1000 players in Japan will get 5 Raise Max Level, 5 Mega Speedup and 1 Gyaradosite. A Latias Escalation Battle has begun and is up until February 14 2017 which enables access to Latiasite at level 50. New special stage for Verizion and will be running until February7. Special Daily Pokemon for Winking Pokemon stage is also here and will until February13. And lastly, Bellossom stage will run until February 14.

Pokemon Duel received a new update and three new figures are added to the boosters. It has added Poliwhirl, Tentacool, Golbat, Exeggutor & Arbok as UC figures, Onix & Wigglytuff as R figures and Articuno, Zapdos& Moltresas EX figures.
