The ongoing legal battle between Kesha and Dr. Luke is not heading anywhere. On Monday, Dr. Luke filed for an additional defamation claim against Kesha in their ongoing battle where Kesha has accused the producer of rape and abuse.

In the new defamation lawsuit, Dr. Luke has claimed that Kesha intentionally defamed him with an alleged text she had sent to her friend Lady Gaga in February 2016. As per the new paperwork, his legal team has claimed that Kesha told Gaga that there was another artist who was raped by the same man and the "same man" in this context is none other than Dr. Luke, reports E! News.

Dr. Luke's legal team claims that sending a text defaming the producer was a calculated move by Kesha which aimed at harming his business and reputation. "Gottwald did not rape Kesha, and he did not rape the other recording artist," the new filing claims, reports Daily News.

Later, Kesha also filed her amended documents that claimed Dr. Luke has not yet approved her songs and there's no release date or promotional plan in place. The papers also added that though she has started recording a new album, there has been no information on whether it will be launched or not. The "Tik Tok" singer has also claimed that Luke has failed to pay her royalties for over two years.

While Dr. Luke is still claiming innocence on his part and is making changes to his claims, Kesha, on the other hand, has once again asked to be released from her contract with Sony. The Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich had granted them permission to make amendments if required to their counterclaims ahead of their next court date scheduled for February 14.

It was in 2016 that Kesha came out in open and talked about the abuse and assault she had suffered at the hands of producer Lukas Gottwald aka Dr. Luke. She had approached the court to be freed from her contract with Sony and her alleged abuser Dr. Luke.
