Justin Bieber To Attend Grammys For Selena Gomez, Allegedly Furious About The Weeknd

Justin Bieber and other artists including Kanye West, and Frank Ocean were reported having plans to boycott the Grammys this year. These record artists pointed out that attending the Grammys is pointless at this point in their career.

Further reports suggested that Bieber thinks that the Grammys is very much "out of touch" with music and the art brought by the artists. As it happened numerous times, some expecting recording artists found themselves surprised as they failed to be nominated in certain categories they are anticipating.

However, Hot New HipHop reported that most probably Bieber has changed his plans as he was informed that her ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez will be attending. Bieber may have missed Gomez for they had not seen each other in months.

Selena Gomez just concluded her three-month rehab stay in Tennessee and recently went public with her romantic relationship with the singer, The Weeknd. Of course, Selena is expected to attend the prestigious Grammys with The Weeknd as her date. Despite Selena's unavailability as a date, Justin Bieber still can decide to show up to catch a glimpse of Selena.

"Look, we'd love to have [Justin Bieber and Kanye West] again," Ken Ehrlich, an executive at the Grammys, revealed to Entertainment Tonight. "We're actually still talking to Justin. Kanye, it's probably going to be a question of - if it will happen, it will or won't happen closer to the show."

On the other hand, Justin may seem bitter of Selena's newfound love as he has previously branded The Weeknd's music as "whack," and perceived the couple's relationship as a publicity stunt to boost their careers and their reputation.

Bieber may have been inappropriately bitter and unhappy for Selena as he himself dated a lot of models, such as Lionel Richie's daughter, Sofia Richie. Despite that, should Justin Bieber attend the award ceremony anyway or risk the night with a possible awkward encounter with Selena?
