'Jurassic World 2' Will Deal With Animal Rights! Everything We Know So Far
It's been over a year since "Jurassic World" hit the big screens. Fans are now eager to see what's next in the sequel. According to the report, "Jurassic World 2" will deal with animal rights and it will be bigger than the first film.
Independent reported that the next "Jurassic World" film will feature animal rights. It will make viewers realize how animals are being treated. Amidst the dinosaurs' size, they are being bred in the film and are used as weapons.
"The dinosaurs will be a parable of the treatment animals receive today: the abuse, medical experimentation, pets, having wild animals in zoos like prisons, the use the military has made of them, animals as weapons," Colin Trevorrow said.
Comicbook added that InGen will weaponize the dinosaurs. However, it remains unknown if they will be successful or note. Nevertheless, one thing is certain, there will be an attempt to weaponize these huge creators in "Jurassic World 2."
Aside from these teasers, the report notes that there will be a time gap between the two films. Bryce Dallas Howard revealed that her character Claire and Chris Pratt's Owen will have to figure out about themselves. This will take between the timeline of the first and second movies.
Aside from the timeline gap, the next film will explore the different niche of the movie series that has never been tapped yet. The director of "The Orphanage" and the fantasy drama "A Monster Calls" is set to helm the film to give it a new flavor.
"The second part will be a very different movie that will explore new paths. For that reason, it was clear that it needed to be Bayona who would direct it, in order to have it grow and evolve with his very personal vision," Trevorrow added.
Bayona announced that they will film in the countryside of Brecon Beacons in Wales for "Jurassic World 2." However, it is unknown how long they will film in the said location.
"Jurassic World 2" will hit the big screens on June 22, 2018. Stay tuned for more news and updates of your favorite movies here.
