'Narcos' Season 3 Air Date & Spoilers: What We Know Far About The Next Season!
"Narcos" Season 3 is expected to return on Netflix this year. However, the hype about the American crime web TV series continues and here's the latest scoop we have about your favorite show.
Starz Post reported that the cast and crew have been filming "Narcos" Season 3 last year. However, they are tight-lipped when it comes to the details of the plot.
"Narcos" fans are restless as to what's next on season 3 after Escobar's controversial death in the last season. The report notes that the showrunners are planning to shed more light on the Cali Cartel. Thus, fans might probably see more of this in "Narcos" Season 3.
Speaking of the Cali Cartel, reports are rife that "Narcos" Season 3 will feature the story of the Mexican drug lord El Chapo. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Eric Newman was asked how many seasons it will take to catch up with El Chapo's timeline.
" It depends on where we start in the Mexican timeline. Chapo was there at the beginning, in a way," he told THR. "In our timeline currently, that's already happened because that was in 1985. So it depends. If we take our time, it could take a while. If we jump right into it, it could be really soon."
Aside from the covering the story of a new kingpin, "Narcos" season 3 will feature new faces. Among the new actors joining the new season is Miguel ángel Silvestre. The Spanish star confirmed this by sharing his script on his Instagram account.
Michael Stahl-David and Matt Whelan will also appear in "Narcos" Season 3 where they will play as DEA agents. Meanwhile, Arturo Castro will take the role of David Rodriguez, the son of Miguel, one of the Cali Cartel's founders.
