'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Episode 10 Spoilers: 'New Best Friends' To Introduce New Community
"The Walking Dead" midseason premiere did not result in a concrete battle plan for Rick and his rebellion but it did a nail biter of an episode when Rick travels with his "family" to King Ezekiel's Kingdom to enlist their support in his war against Negan and the Saviors.
According to a recap posted by Coming Soon, after members of the Hilltop colony decide to make a stand against Negan, Jesus takes Rick to meet King Ezekiel in the hopes of joining up their ranks to counter the Saviors' numbers and arsenal. While Morgan cautions Ezekiel against joining up with Rick and instead maintaining the deal with the Saviors to keep the peace, Richard is in favor of going against Negan, citing that the tyrant grows stronger with each day that they do nothing.
Morgan also leaves out the fact that Carol is alive and living alone just beyond the Kingdom. While King Ezekiel eventually decides to heed Morgan's advice to protect his people, he does offer sanctuary for Daryl since the Saviors do not dare go inside their wall. Rick agrees to this in order to protect his friend as well as the people of Alexandria from Negan's wrath.
"The Walking Dead" midseason premiere was not short of excitement and danger when Rick and his group almost didn't make it in time to Alexandria before Simon and his men arrived to search for Daryl. As expected, they found no trace of Daryl even when they turned the town upside down.
"The Walking Dead's" upcoming Episode 10 entitled "New Best Friends" seem to offer up new hope for Rick and his group, or it could also mean that their lives will be threatened anew, according to a report by Comic Book. In the episode preview, a new female character is introduced and he addresses Rick by saying "We own your lives. You want to buy them back?"
Rick responds by saying that the Saviors own their lives and that they will come looking for them. He offers the new character a way out, leading fans to believe that the new character and her group could also be serving Negan.
The trailer also shows Daryl and Richard working together to free the Kingdom from Negan's tyranny. Based on the episode title, Rick's rebellion could come across new allies, in addition to the old ones. "The Walking Dead" Episode 10 airs February 19 on AMC.
