George, Amal Clooney Very Happy With Their Coming Twins

A recent update reveals that George Clooney just landed himself the biggest role of being a father as his wife, Amal Clooney, is pregnant with twins. Multiple sources close to the couple confirmed that Amal has already announced the good news quietly to every member of both families. They sources added that the couple is very happy.

However, Clooney's representatives are yet to comment on this update. George and Amal Clooney got married in September 2014 in Venice, Italy, in the presence of friends and well-wishers including Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon, Bono and Emily Blunt.

Ever since, Amal Clooney, the 39-year-old international human rights lawyer, and George Clooney, the 55-year-old Oscar-winning actor, director and producer have been busy trying to balance their work with a quality time together at their homes in England, L.A., and Italy.

The sources said: "Between all their important work, they always stay focused on keeping their marriage happy and healthy. They are very keen on not spending too much time apart." 

According to reports, George Clooney has previously said that meeting Amal Clooney totally changed the course of his life. He told People of his marriage in 2015 stating that all he knows is that it kind of altered everything in terms of what he thought his future was going to be. He continued to say that he has always been optimistic about the world.

He noted that he was not always completely optimistic about how it was going to work out personally to him but he is now. George Clooney has previously expressed a never-say-never attitude on becoming a dad as he revealed in an interview that he thinks that the most responsible thing a person can do is to have kids.

He told People in 2006 that it is not something to be taken lightly when he was named "Sexiest Man Alive" for the second time. He said,  "I do not have that gene that people have to replicate. But everything in my life has changed over time."

Amal Clooney revealed her bond with her own mother, Baria, few months before the news of her pregnancy. Baria is a journalist, whom Amal described as one of the most influential people in her life. She revealed that when she was growing up, she saw her mother as a role model, as she was always a working woman.

She said her mother is someone who is independent and cared about her career, but also had balance. Amal Clooney said this during a Q&A at the Texas Conference for Women in November, where she was the keynote speaker, Yahoo reported.

The news of the twin pregnancy was reported by Julie Chen last Thursday on The Talk, where she stated that she confirmed the pregnancy with the actor directly and that the twins are due in June.
