"Grey's Anatomy' Season 13 Spoilers: War Brews Between Bailey And Meredith Over Suspension
War is brewing in the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital after the arrival of newcomer Dr. Eliza Minnick causes a division among the doctors at the hospital. "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 13 entitled "It Only Gets Much Worse" promises to bring to a head the tension that has been developing for several episodes.
According to the synopsis posted by SpoilerTV, Eliza's presence at the hospital will continue to cause more friction when she schedules a training session, but residents are powerless as they are caught between the conflict among the attendings. April, who was named Chief of Surgery in the last episode to replace Meredith, will also not have easy when she tries to do her job.
A report by Screener cited that last week's episode of "Grey's Anatomy" was already the beginning of a bigger conflict between Bailey and the attendings who are sympathetic towards RIchard and opposed to Eliza's presence in the hospital. Attendings have made no secret of their position but Bailey is putting her foot down and is fully supporting Eliza and what she can contribute to the hospital.
In Episode 12 of "Grey's Anatomy" entitled "None of Your Business," Bailey suspended Meredith and appointed April to replace her to make a statement that a mutiny will not work during her watch. But Meredith, being one of the shareowners of the hospital, as well as wielding some clout among the other board members and shareowners, could also stand her ground and fight Bailey tooth and nail to stay put.
The article also shared that the storyline can prove to be disastrous for April as her authority will once again be challenged by her collagues who see her as a usurper and a traitor for siding with Bailey and Eliza. And while Eliza may be optimistic in believing everything will simply fall into place, doctors of "Grey's Anatomy" have proven for the past 13 seasons that they can be stubborn when they want to be.
Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 13 entitled "It Only Gets Much Worse." It airs February 19 on ABC.
