‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Episode 15 Spoilers: Zapata Dies; New Traitor Teased In Trailer

The promo trailer for "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 15 teased the death of Tasha Zapata after an FBI betrays the team. This traitor could be anyone from Kurt Weller's team.

NBC has released a preview for "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 15, titled "Draw O Caesar, Erase a Coward." The trailer revealed another intense mission for Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and team, which does not seem to end well for Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza).

The preview teased that Zapata dies after she gets shot by an unknown killer. However, the voiceover in the trailer for "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 15 hinted that, the killer is a traitor in the FBI or anyone from Weller's team.

According to the synopsis for "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 15 from Cartermatt, the encounter happens after the team tracks down a deadly underworld courier. Patterson cracks a set of tattoos from Jane's (Jaimie Alexander) body that yielded to multiple leads. This prompts Weller to divide his team into pairs. 

Zapata paired up with Jane as revealed in the trailer for "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 15. Meanwhile, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) joined Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) and Weller had an unlikely pair in Jane's brother Roman (Luke Mitchell).

However, the question is who is the traitor in Weller's team? Could it be Roman? Perhaps he suddenly regains his memories in "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 15. He then pretends to go along with the mission only to betray the team.

Regardless, it is interesting to point out that Alexander may have already hinted at Zapata's death in a previous interview. The "Blindspot" Season 2 actress revealed a major character death that will definitely surprise viewers. "There is a very shocking death that's coming up that I just read last week that I didn't know was going to happen. It's very sad," Alexander told TV Guide.
