‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Episodes 13 to 14 Spoilers Reveal Kai's Return, Elena's Revival
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 13 will air on Feb. 17 while Episode 14 will be released on Feb. 24, 2017. The upcoming episodes will bring a fresh batch of trouble for the characters in Mystic Falls when an old villain returns. Kai is back to wreak havoc, but he also promises to revive Elena. Should he be trusted?
After Stefan (Paul Wesley) became human again in the previous "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 episodes, he gets arrested for all the crimes he's done. Fortunately, his fiancée, Caroline (Candice King) manages to convince the cops to release him. It doesn't stop Stefan from being guilty, though. In Episode 12, he asks his brother, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) whether there was salvation and redemption for the both of them.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 13 trailer promo reveals that Damon would like nothing more than to kill Kai (Chris Wood), except that the latter bargains his life with the promise to revive Elena (Nina Dobrev). Fans have long known that Dobrev will reprise her role for the last season, so she will probably make her return in Episode 13 or 14.
Fans certainly think that Kai will do as promised, even though he shouldn't be trusted. He was the one to curse Elena with a death-like sleep, after all. Wood and Dobrev aren't the only ones returning for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, though. TV Line reported that David Anders, Kayla Ewell, Michael Trevino and Steven R. McQueen will also reprise their respective roles for the last season.
Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 14 promo reveals that the Salvatore brothers will work together again to defeat Cade. Their reunion doesn't last more than a minute before Stefan does something to Damon to put him out of commission, although this could just be his way of protecting his brother.
TV Fanatic revealed stills from "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 14 yesterday. It looked like Stefan was on his own fighting against a bad guy, with Damon down for the count. It also looked like Cade (Wolé Parks) will be targeting Bonnie (Kat Graham) again. He is still on a quest to get some souls, but considering that Stefan is human now, he could be moving on to someone else. To know for sure what Cade is planning, watch the next "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 episode this Feb. 17 on The CW.
